Head -Sales (India)
Roles and Responsibilities
- This is a role who can present to senior management the overall sales picture of India Operations
- Ensuring all orders are updated at plants
- Ensuring all Contract Reviews are done by plants
- Ensuring communication is sent by plant Sales teams to customers on orders received
- Looking at the order book scenario including order booking for next few months, backlogs, expected backlogs, plan to meet customer demand
- Monitor sales orders and ensure deliveries as per customer demand
- Product Deliveries (includes all inter-linked planning from sales to dispatch)
- Maintaining & managing customer base with monitoring market trends and by Quality, Cost and Deliveries along with wavelength
- Monitor and review account receivables
- Coordination with units and PPC
- Ensure strategic compliance like NDA, LTA, Warranty, product liability and general terms & conditions
- Ensure inventory management as per norms
- Ensure receivables management as per norms
- Manage lead time
